Can a creditor alter a closed account?

If the info is from Trans Union, there should be a reference number on the top right hand side. Jot it down then call their customer service toll free @ 1-800-916-8800 then type in the reference number and that should transfer you to a live rep. Explain the situation and they should be able to resolve it for you.
