Sony webbie HD self recording broken?

I have the MHS-PM1 webbie HD self recorder and when I turn it on the light that indicates that it is on turn green but then shuts off. So it won't turn on. Is there a way to fix it? It just happened one day I didn't drop it in water or anything -.- Thanks for the help.
