I need help with the EyeTVHD.Please help as fast as you can?

Im thinking about purchasing this but I need to know how to set it up for my PS3. Its an old PS3 not sure if that changes anything. My TV is 480p as far as I know, can I still record in HD? Can you please tell me if I have to buy any extra cables. Please tell me basically everything you know about Eye-TV,where I can buy, how to use the programs,and how to set it up for my PS3. I own a MacBook Pro.Ask if anything additional information is needed and tell me everything you know about it if you can. Thank you :)
